Dhi ban kare sewa maa-piyo di
Behan banke laad ladondi hai
Khed khed vich piyo di ladli
Pata nahi kidon vadi ho jaandi hai
Vyah karke paraye ghar tur jaandi

Ek din shayad hum bhi kabhi achhe kavi ban payenge.
Aaj achanak yunhi ek khayal aaya aur meri kalam chal gayi
Baad mein ehsaas huya ki meri kalam se ek aur kavita nikal gayi
Chanchal mann bola ki A se Z likho, Par X- pe gaadi atak gayi

Lo fir aa gayi mastani holi
Lekar sang mastano ki toli
Aao milkar sab khele holi
Bheege kurta, bheege choli
Rang daalo tum aaj sabhi ko
