Vyah karke paraye ghar tur jaandi

From few of my previous few post you might have seen me as a writer cum critic and a poet, you might have read few or all of my poems. I have touched various topics and in various different ways. A question might be in your minds, whats next after those writing and poems..

I would like to give a hint of my plans even though nothing is confirmed, But I am planning to write few short stories on various social issues and close to reality. Also I am planning to post some of sketches made by me. I have a hobby of sketching, I love to make sketches of people. Maybe I will post some of the sketches in future. As of now I don’t have any of sketches I made in past but I will try to post if I make something in future. although I am not leaving writing poems. I am currently writing few more poems on various topics. I mostly prefer to write in Hindi to bring out my creativity. Even to diversify my poetic range I am planning to write few something in Punjabi and English.

Please post your feedback on my various blog posts. Also if you have any suggestions on which topics I should write (short story or poem) please tell me in comments. I will look forward. I won’t promise I will write on the same. But I will surely give a try if its inspiring thought to me. Please do comment on my blog. You are not just the readers but my my guides so I can write better.

This is one of my poems which I written as a reply to one of my friend. when I got a reply to one of my forward mail and she asked me why I haven’t mailed for long time, she also asked if i had forgotten the friends. The original poem which I had written was little longer as it also included something dependent on the forwarded mail and something about my colleague. I am just posting little modified version for your better understanding.

For me this Valentines is pretty special. Today was a rememberable Valentine’s day of my life.  Its was not special because I proposed someone or got any proposal. But it started with something which I love to do, I went to a school in Jayanagar to teach communication skills kids of 2nd standard.

Me and two more volunteers spent approx 1-1.5hours in the classroom with the kids to teach them. We played some games to make them learn new words. The kids really enjoyed the games, with their naughtiness, and with their energy . It really reminded me my childhood and the joy of being a kid. The time with them spent so quickly we could never feel it.  I really enjoy my Saturdays being with them.

It was not only that, the day brought something more interesting when I went for a movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” with my friends in the afternoon. Even the movie was horrible comedy, one of the worst movie I have seen. I enjoyed a good time with my friends.

Today two of my friends shared lot of things about their life to me. Its amazing feeling when your friend trust and and share something which they don’t share with others. I felt so special being the only person with whom they shared this. Thank you both for giving that special moments to me.

In the evening I chatted with some friends and called up few friends and wished Valentines day to them. In night had a Pizza fiest and wrote the full day experience on the blog.

This Valentines Day is very special to me and thank you everyone for making my day that special.

Yesterday, Sunday, 28th Dec 2008. It was our first creation meeting for transform India movement. The meeting was in Cubbon park, Bangalore it started ten minutes late. We only were four people in starting. few were little disappointed to see very few people, few had regret because their invited guest didn’t turned up. We started our meeting with discussion on the problems which need solutions on urgent basis, we asked all members which they see as the biggest problem. After few minutes two more people came up and before another half an hour we were 8 people discussing on the issue. Soon we had a list of problems like poverty, inequality, corruption, increasing population, pollution, politics, security, unemployment etc. After the brain storming we asked our members to suggest us few possible solutions for the problem which they are more concerned about, the new members were bit surprised to see we are asking them the solution instead of giving them. To our no surprise they were knowing the possible solutions to the problem they concerned about and got more clarity on the solution after discussing with other members. We called them for action on there solution, because the idea is just a idea until it is implemented. We call them for action and asked their 1% of time (15mins per day) to devote to think and act only on the solution to that problem. We told them our Idea on how we are going to take action and create transformation on national level using website and regular creation meetings of members. In the last we took the feedback about the meeting and our idea. We made the Plan of action for every member of our new group and bid them to meet next time.

The discussion looks very simple but it was very empowering. We could see people taking responsibilities on them and creating the solutions. They were thinking only about those social problems and action they will take to solve that problem. The action will show up by next meet but the energy and enthusiasm we seen there was awesome. There were not eight individuals there were team of eight extra-ordinary Indians who started the movement to transform India.

In last we would like to acknowledge Sutirtha, Anusri, Tarun, Neelam, Nagaraj, Rohan on behalf of us (Arindam, Pranab and Ashish) for attending the meeting, and to Harshitha and Savitha who joined us in last. Also we would like to thank all of their families and friends to provide them empowerment in all forms so they made it to this meeting.
